LIBERTÉ

blAlright. Let`s have a sit, take a deep breath and finally enjoy the little spare time. Having just arrived from the mecca of high jinks, social contacts and  art (as a general meaning) all my senses need a decent rest. However, such a thing is not allowed in the course of May – too much work knocks on my former carefree door. I intend to use my blog as a platform, where I`ll be collecting more of my daily inspirations. That`s it.

Nobody has time to photograph outfits anymore. We are all sick of it. Life is way more interesting out there.

BRICK LANE

P1019512Being in London and not paying a visit to the most vibrant “lane” on Sundays could be compared only to a random deadly sin. I must burn in hell for not doing so during the first time I`ve been in the UK, but all in all  this mistake of mine was officially fixed few weeks ago. It is quite funny how delicate everyone were while I`ve been asking the question whether I had missed – not going to Brick Lane market… They should have told me that this is the same as not having been in London whatsoever! But fortunately, my friends spared me and let me find it out all by myself.

Indeed – the market is a feast for the senses. One could find anything he wants in terms of vintage & second hand clothing. I bought a lovely baroque shirt and a cap for very reasonable prizes. After having a decent walk among the shops, once you feel tired or especially hungry you may grab a meal… But usually it is not that easy as it sounds. The wide range of tastes is extremely tempting having in mind that there is abundance of international cuisine.P1019505P1019508  P1019532P1019507P1019545P1019506P1019524P1019502However, the second day of the weekend would not be complete without having a look at Rough Trade. It is a remarkable place, where all the trendy and iconic music in the world is  collected. I could have stayed there a whole day – doing nothing but listening to the sound! For those dedicated just like me there is a coffee shop available in the store, so literally hours might be spend there. P1019540P1019538P1019511P1019535P1019527All is well that ends well. Certainly a piece of a velvet cake in the end of the day is capable of making your love for that little corner in East London even stronger. P1019529

Fuchsia Slumber

veronique-sleeping 1Juicy, sweet and vivid is the new season. We are all already looking forward to the blossoming spring days. Doing my best to run away as furthest as possible from the black concept, in which everybody is so stuck in – I`ve combined few pieces that have nothing to do – but clash. A vintage floral sweater, my auntie`s Dolce & Gabbana graphical skirt and a coral parka. Certainly is the not the first possible combination that comes to mind. Not that I`ve been trying so hard… But it is springtime and this undobtedly packs my head with new mad ideas of beauty and way of living. pinky 1Wearing: Celine sunglasses, vintage sweater, second hand scarf and parka, Dolce and Gabanna graphic skirt, vintage hat & Buffalo creepers

LFW Day 7 – Somerset House

2Having in mind that my first day in Britain was the last day of London Fashion Week, I couldn’t `t help myself, but to head to the spot where the magic usually happens – Somerset House. Quite sure I was that there would be numerous of fashionistas, who would pay their last tribute to the past seven days of unscrupulous demonstrations.detailsBy some strange turn of events – without even realizing it, suddenly I merged in the crowd and became one of them. For my first appearance I had chosen to play it lavish, having the usual pinch of trash. This was the first time I have worn my new Doctor Martens tanner shoes and from the day I added them to my wishlist I knew I would mix them with a pair of white socks. And I remained faithful to that primary decision. Now, coming to think of it – the combination between all those materials and textures is slightly impossible, having no god damn clue how it has ever occurred my mind. But it is obviously nothing short of the home truth.

What I actually like and despise at the same time about this outfit is the huge golden D&G bag. Yvailo claims to had found it next to a dustbin in Sofia and immediately had rammed it in his cupboard full of accessories. It is the story I appreciate the most and the  D&G IN YOUR FACE grotesque. The other pieces of my look just fade away in front of its sight.

Paris – First Day Impression

1They`ve been infernally cold few days back in London and once the plane landed on Charles de Gaulle airport, I  was absolutely sure that the gloomy British weather won`t miss me – cause it has followed me all the way to Paris.

Although, the temperatures and the wind were unbearable, my lovely fellows were there to warm the day up! The PR manager at H&M Bulgaria – Dana Danina, Elle Bulgaria`s fashion editor – Antonia Yourdanova and me. It does sound like the perfect team for Paris Fashion Week! However, we had a good stroll along the Parisian streets, doing nothing but tasting all the sweets – which the city could propose to three sugar-addicted ladies working in the so-called fashion industry. And there was a wide choice!

The hotel we stayed was Parisian to death too. Plush, velvet, gold… It was a lovely place to spend the rest of the life. P1019618We did as well payed a visit to Colette – the store famous for its sensitivity for trends – even before they have emerged. It was a feast for the eyes – indeed. Packed with the most remarkable pieces for the season and tones of alternative magazines – I could easily die there. 3MG_9017
I love the sight of the unknown tramp`s belongings – few plastic bags, a suitcase filled with some soft bedding and as you can imagine – typically French and srylish – a bag of The Kooples! How not to love this city? P1019644OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Style “EXCHANGE” – Ragged Priest

12The exchange saga continues. This is another outfit created for me by Yvailo Serafimov. This time it contains favorite pieces of my wardrobe carefully mixed with ones from his. Of course, we can`t both do without the signature Marni top!  It is always a breath of fresh air, although combined with denim and a blazer as in this case. 3Yesterday I bought the “Ragged” Priest hat from Topshop as well as those marvelous kitty-cat printed socks. Another purchase of mine in this wasteland was a dark green lipstick, which I had never expected to find anywhere around the globe at all. It was so crowded there as usual that I grabbed the items before anyone else was capable of doing it first in front of my very eyes. Buying on impulse never turns out to be a mistake!4Wearing: Marni for H&M top, Ragged Priest hat, black blazer, Divided by H&M boyfriend`s jeans, black leather bag, Dior sunnies, printed socks from Topshop, Maison Martin Margiela for H&M wedges

Sight vs. Seeing

21Exactly a week ago the great migration begun. The routes for sightseeing had become a sights, which have been seen… Having checked all those – the best thing for me was to try to find the way out of the cliches and dig myself into the dungeons, night clubs and stranger`s homes.

This is just what I`ve been doing the last couple of days. Wild parties, unexpected meetings with complete strangers and last but not least making new even more unexpected friends. Besides all, London Fashion Week was an experience, which I`ll never forget.  It does sound like fun… It is so resounding, that I don`t feel like going home ever again. But who says we need to? Let`s pay a quick visit to Paris first… and then go find home – where the heart is. 3

Style “EXCHANGE” Part 1

blogSo here we go again! Back to beloved London and the cold waters of the river Thames. I am trying to do my best in order to enjoy myself – and it looks as if this part of the plan is successful. London Fashion Week, new dear friends and tones of art, which is on the waiting list to be digested.

Besides all, me and my lovely friend Yvailo have come to the decision to exchange a little personal style – as long as we can both put up with what the other has chosen for him! Apparently, it wasn`t very difficult for me to go along with him in terms of this outfit. I am absolutely into those wedges… and if they weren`t two sizes bigger that mine, I would without any doubt have taken advantage of them here on the streets.  4What is more, I decided to get away from the usual make-up of mine. This one is not quite different from the usual one, but at least – I am trying to make a step! bl1Thanks to Yvailo for being that  kindly disposed to me – black leather, black shirt and extremely high wedges… What else shall I strive for? Do expect to see my selection for him on his BLOG!

Back 2 LondonTown

andreTaking advantage of my affinity for Fauvism as an artistic style  or in particular for André Derain, I am blessed to announce that I am going back to London. I am looking forward to dipping my sight into the cold waters of the river Thames. Ten days look to be fair enough in London Town. I have no clue what is actually possible to happen in the course of that time. But… Great adventures wait around the corner, I prefer to believe…

See you there!
